Getting my angst in screechy digital form has never been so easy. You can listen to the whole album on that page. Just hit the upper right link.

Reading site news is still incredibly boring.
April 2, 2007, 13:35 EST
The defacement of machall.com isn't really a big deal, most likely some bots trolling servers for known vulnerabilities. As usual with this sort of thing, the files weren't touched. It's trivial to solve if you have a fair level of access to the server. Which we don't over there.
So instead of calling up our dude as we have many times before, we're just going to take the plunge and move it over here to Dreamhost.
Gonna take a little bit of work to convert though. It was running on said dude's backend and we're going to use an open one. Hopefully not more than next week.

...MacHall.com is not an April Fools joke. Instead it's just another example of why I hate the interwebs.

Showing my hand
March 29, 2007, 13:31 EST
So the news is out, what I've been working on here at OOO that is. You can see a few of my art resources in the screens like Nemo and Minako in this shot. And also the kart racers in this shot. (They're demons by the way, despite their jello like shell.)
Been teaching myself Action Script 3 so I could make games for it and thus far have had a positive experience. It really helps to have non-official examples that are written in English. Hopefully by the end of the month I'll have a fun old school brawler programmed and in the Whirled.
I hope it takes off, for one I like the concept of seeding rooms into web pages, but also because I love my job.

Next comic: Monday

Been feeling like shit this week. I seem to be subject to random bouts of insomnia, so this has been making it very hard for me to focus on my work. Going to use this lovely weekend to recoup and start fresh come Monday.

I'm not sure they'll take a party of 77 at the Olive Garden. I'm kind of tied up now anyway.
Oh, and this Jin girl says to say she loves you and Jerry.

Ok, we have an ad space up way down at the bottom of the page.
Bidding starts at one cent per day.
Huh. Actually I guess I'm not 100% sure how this works. Seems to update live.
Oh, I get it now! The cost at the bottom is the bid for 24 hours, but if you are outbid, you're charged for whatever fraction of the day your ad was showing.
So far we've earned two cents. This is fun.

I have to admit, updating on Tuesday's makes me feel lazy. Almost like I got to work late or something. Ah well, comic away!

Ok, we have an honest to dog RSS feed now. This one should update faster than the OhNoRobot version.
Might not work for this first one, but I think it should straighten itself out on the next update.
Now if Ryan North would get back to us about a Project Wonderful invitation, we could be using all three of his tools...

Losing Control
March 16, 2007, 01:41 EST
I find the more I loosen my line work the more I'm enjoying the results. When I first started down this path I was trying to carve with ink. Modeling to some degree after some Frank Miller works, but the cleaner stuff just wasn't doing it. That or I really hated drawing in Flash. God, I hate Flash...
But then I sat down and started doodling my old City of Villains character, Risu, and ended up with this:
I really like that character, shame the game got boring. Seems to be a common fate with my MMO characters.
